I. See. You.  Sometimes being the strong one seems unappreciated yet expected, overlooked, and not checked on because of their strength and appearance of “having it all together”.  I know, firsthand, how it feels so this post is to let you know that I see you.  There are some of us that have to be strong when we don’t want to or even feel like we can.  We have to keep going even at our weakest points.  The moment we’re ready to have our fall out or breakdown, something else happens to interrupt our moment so we have to shake ourselves, get back up and keep it moving…again.  We sometimes wonder, why do I always have to be the responsible one? Why do I always have to fix things?  Where’s my help?  I get it 10,000% and I see.  I’ve asked those questions, along with many others, and I still don’t have any answers other than we were created with an uncanny strength, so it is in our DNA.  Although it does not always seem like a blessing, but we are ones that were blessed with a strength like no other.  Only the strongest soldiers get and can handle our battles.  Many others would’ve crumbled under what we’ve had to deal with, endure, and persevere through.  That is not shade to the not so strong, it is the reality for many of us.

Yes, Strong Soldier, this is a salute to you and a reminder that you are not alone. I see you and I understand.  I am one of you.  As we keep it moving, we often see that we are a lot stronger than we even realize, and, there are so many that we’ve helped along the way that would not be alive or where they are if it weren’t for our strength and fortitude.  We are not always told, so let me explicitly tell you right now that you are loved, you are appreciated, and you are necessary.  Yes, I salute you but also salute yourself!!  You really do ROCK!!  Remember too, however, that even the strongest need help, need that minute, need encouragement.  Find it to refresh and replenish your strength.  Whatever you need to do – read inspiring books or quotes, go to church, pray, get counseling, exercise, listen to and sing motivating and uplifting songs, draw, sit in your car alone for a minute before leaving work or while you’re out, take a vacation or staycation, treat yourself to something you want – whatever it is, do it not only because you need it but because you are worth it.  A little moment can make a big difference.  As you keep it moving, because that’s who you are, keep in mind that there is only ONE YOU so be sure to make you a priority.  Hugs of strength to you, Strong Soldier and thank you for being you!!  I. See. You. And moreover, I understand.
