I am The Media Lady, and this is my confession.  I am a Foodie!! I’ve been guilty of overeating simply because of the food’s phenomenal taste.  We all know how wrong that is and many of us pretend to strive for moderation next time.  Many of us eat as if we must have it all now, now, now.  We also make life decisions in the same manner.  I wonder what life would be like if we applied moderation, as needed, in every area of our lives?  If we ate what we wanted but in moderation, we’d probably be a lot healthier and feel much better.  Could moderation in other areas of our lives be the significant difference we need to move forward? I’m asking myself, too.

I’ve come to realize that moderation can be applied in almost every area; new beginnings, moving forward, unique situations, etc.  Yes, we all envision the fruition of our dreams…I do too…often.  We picture how we see it working at its climax.  But, do we allow our envisioning to hinder our progress because where we are does not look like what we’ve envisioned?  Is where we are a lot more difficult and time consuming than what we’ve dreamed?  At times, yes, it is – at least it is for me.  So, use this as a reminder:  moderate movement and increasing as we progress forward is vital and will help build a firm foundation, illuminate details that we may miss when starting excessively, relieve a lot of stress and unwanted financial challenges, and most importantly, teach invaluable principles, skills, and lessons.  Someone once told me that when you’re beginning a thing, plan it so it works effectively and efficiently for 100 people.  When it grows and gets close to that 100, reevaluate and adjust efficiency to 250 or 500, depending on growth experienced.  As growth continues, keep reevaluating and adjusting as needed.  Obviously, these numbers may have to be adjusted according to the type of business or life situation in which applied.  Our goal should be to learn as we grow, grow as we learn and rock it out every step of the way.

In sticking with the Temple Renovations mission of making gradual changes for permanent results, I say get started, keep it moving and keep your gradual steps great and effective.  Do what you do and do it very well with every step you make and in every situation.  We may feel stuck at times because things are not moving as fast as we’d like or anticipated.  How well do I know!!  But, our gradual steps will produce our expected results if we don’t quit.  We may not have everything for an immediate vision climax, but we do have what we need to start or move forward…in moderation.
